Executive Team
Mark brings more than 20 years of market knowledge and hands-on development experience to every project. He personally directs and supervises all aspects of our business. Before our merger, Mr. Levy was President of Rock Realty, Inc., which he started in 1991.
Mark has been an active member of the Baltimore and Washington real estate communities since 1982. He is a member of the Maryland chapter of NAIOP (National Association of Industrial and Office Parks), which serves as a forum for Maryland's commercial real estate. He is also an active member of Maryland's Homebuilders Association and The Associated's Real Estate Industry Group.
Wayne Newsome has been engaged in construction and real estate development since the 1970s. An entrepreneur at heart, Wayne founded and led Hearth & Home Distributors, Inc. He currently oversees a variety of development projects, land-development initiatives, and the construction of manufactured-housing communities.
Mr. Newsome is an active member of the National Homebuilders Association (NAHB), the Maryland Home Builders Association, the Chesapeake Bay Foundation, and the Hearth Patio & Barbecue Association.
Mr. Gessner has specialized in the financing of real estate development for 20 years. As CFO he brings extensive accounting and tax expertise; in addition to ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements, Tom seeks out opportunities and designs solutions that will work best in any given financial or economic environment.
Mr. Gessner is a graduate of West Virginia University and a CPA. He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and the Maryland Association of Certified Public Accountants (MACPA).
As Vice President of Commercial Development, Bradd oversees the acquisition, development, management and sales of H&H Rock's Commercial real estate assets. He is also responsible for sourcing, negotiating and structuring development and acquisition opportunities for the company.
A graduate of Towson University, Mr. Caplan specialized in finance. He is a member of the Maryland Chapter of NAIOP (National Association of Industrial and Office Properties), which serves as a forum for Maryland's commercial real estate. He is also an active member of the Urban Land Institute - Baltimore District Council, Howard County Chamber of Commerce, and he serves on the Outreach Committee for The Associated's Real Estate Industry Group.
Joe Link has been engaged in the building industry for more than 36 years. As head of residential development, he collaborates with attorneys, land planners, civil engineers, site contractors and professional agencies, functioning as team leader in creating new communities. With a diverse background in companies large and small, as well as public and private, he is adept at taking projects from concept to successful completion.
Joe graduated from Ferris State University with a B.S. in Marketing. He is a licensed Maryland real estate agent and a member of the National Association of Home Builders (NAHB), holding the designation of Certified Marketing Professional. Joe is a member of the U.S. Green Building Council-Baltimore Chapter, the National Onsite Wastewater Recycling Association, and the Howard County, MD Full Spectrum Housing Task Force.
Tom Reynolds brings a diverse background to our company, with extensive experience in construction management, field engineering, and financial management. He controls all aspects of construction for our multi-million-dollar portfolio of projects. He assists in the design process, manages bidding, site and building construction, and he works closely with clients and contractors to ensure that projects are completed on time and on or below budget.
Mr. Reynolds earned a B.S. in physics and engineering at Susquehanna University and the University of Maryland. He is a member of National Association of Life Underwriters (NALU), Million Dollar Round Table (MDRT), and ChFC; he received his Chartered Financial Consultant (ChFC) designation from American College.
